Mifflin School

by Historical Society of Pennsylvania

The Mifflin School is named after Thomas Mifflin, member of the Continental Congress and a three-term governor of Pennsylvania. This public secondary school opened in 1825 and served the immigrant populations of Northern Liberties until 1919.
